Ears:

Natures Specialties Ear Cleaner This excellent non-greasy, pleasant smelling ear
cleaner is for routine cleaning and odor control of the ear canal. A medicated,
nonirritating ear cleaner for dogs and cats which may be used after bathing, swimming
or just part of your regular grooming to keep your pets ears clean and fresh smelling.
Contains a water scavenger to help eliminate water in the ear canal yet won't dry out
the ear itself.

    Cotton may  be placed in your pet’s ears during the bathing  process to prevent
    water from entering the canal.  Cotton is also placed in ears during the drying
    process to prevent air from entering the ear canal.

    Ear Powder applied into the ear prior to removing the hair makes it easier to grip
    with a hair puller, less painful to the pet, and relieves any irritation that may be
    caused.  It also helps to prevent ear itch and helps prevent bacteria and fungal
    growth by keeping ear canals dry.  

Ear Magic All Natural Medicated Ear Cleaner is used for ears that are really waxy
or have a lot of odor.  This ear cleaner contains emulsifying surfactants that break down
and remove ear wax and debris.  This all natural cleaner contains Tea Tree Oil, Oil of
Wintergreen and Aloe Vera.  This effective and natural cleanser will eliminate ear odor
and help prevent ear infections from developing.

The Bath: All shampoos used are soap free and will not interfere with any topical
flea/tick treatment that you might be using.  Did you know that if you bathe your pet
without using a soap free product it will wash off these expensive treatments?

    Shampoos:  (depending on the coat and its condition) the following may be used:
    (For pets that have irritated skin we will have discussed which shampoo to use with
    you prior to the bath)  

  1. Baby Dog - this shampoo is made for puppies - that's why it is called Baby Dog!  
    But, sensitive big dogs will like it too!  It protects and moisturizes delicate skin,
    washes gently and is gentle on the eyes.  Leaves the coat baby soft, smelling sweet
    & fresh.
  2. Plum Silky   You will love this mild concentrated shampoo as much as they do for its
    ability to clean well, add texture, condition, and the wonderful lasting fragrance
    it's been known for.  The Aloe Vera, vitamins and silk proteins enhance its
    conditioning powers while leaving the coat more manageable and with a brilliant
    sheen for days.  This shampoo  is safe for puppies and kittens over 6 weeks old.
  3. Colloidal Oatmeal shampoo - contains a natural oat grain derivative with
    emollients formulated to relieve and deep clean dry skin.  It will also restore
    natural moisture and oil to skin.  Contains Protein, Vitamins A & D, Aloe Vera,
    Apricot Oil and Colloidal Oatmeal.

After groom colognes:   Due to the fact that the shampoo’s, crème rinses and the
Liquid Silk Serum that are used have such nice light fresh scents, we do not see the
need for additional colognes.  BUT they are available if requested.
